Ode to the babel fish

i wish i had a babel fish
so i could understand everyone
everything would be like a open book
and i could read it all through
everything would make sense
i'd find all of the truth
if i had a babel fish
i wouldn't be so screwed

i think if i had a babel fish
i could go to every town
and meet every ifrit
that still sticks around
and when i'd ask them for one simple wish
they'd turn to me and say
ifrits don't grant wishes
but they do make a good lay
